On the 17th of September 2018, we were the very first to operate an autonomous delivery drone in the open airspace in Germany.
Now, we are the first to introduce the Droneport, a technology that allows our customers to transport a shipment or package from one location to another without the need for human involvement.
This makes the transport of goods using drones scalable for the first time.
In this video, Dr. Nils Gageik explains the ecosystem around the Droneport based on four use cases: medicine transport, delivery of spare parts in industry and agriculture, and the transport of laboratory samples.
